Alberto Ruiz & Bobby Chiu Collabo Update - Oct 21

The piece is very close to completion now. I'm mainly just thinking if there should be more to look at on the wall... any comments, suggestions? Here's another update.

Great job.... All that blood on the wall yet none on her? realistically there should be some on her no? How about some graffiti on the wall... something comical. Anyway... looks fantastic regardless!

hey bobby..
thanks for stoppin by my blog!

this painting is very nice. i really want to get back into the 'detailed' paintings. its been a lot of graphic looks to my stuff lately.

as far as the wall goes.. i would leave it as is. its already quite busy with all the blood. anything else and we might start looking away from the character. just my 2 cents.

great work man!

I wouldn't touch a damn thing! Looks GREAT guys! Can't go wrong with two hot talents.

Hey Bobby, I'd like to hear you about balancing work and recreational time. I'm sure you have to take some time off to spend to yourself and with your girlfriend and stuff. How do you manage 15 hour days, and fit a life in between?

Hey Bobby.... I don't know.. I think adding more to the back wall would make it distracting.... (as others had mentioned).... however if I did have to mention something... the tattoo on her leg... maybe think about softening it up.... (that is providing it is a tattoo...) right now it kind of looks like it is painted on... which if that is what it is... then don't touch it.... it looks perfect.... but if it is a tattoo... I think it should look more like it is a part of the skin... but that's just the way I see it... I do however love the pattern on her costume... anyways... bobby.. another fantastic job.... PEACE!

Damn...
Just checked up on the blog of Alberto Ruiz (wich i do often because i think his work looks great). Saw the link to your blog and was curious how the image is coming along. And i think it looks great. The wall with the blood gives the image a lot of depth, wich works great.

How about some raw graffiti on the wall?!
Not to much i supose, maybe its good as it is.
I will wait and see.

Great work Bob! I love those shapes. The splots on the wall are really appealing too. I'd say the background should be left exactly as-is!

Thanks man. This is my first time on your blog. Very cool stuff. Dem calves are creepin' me. Love you rendering skills. I especially dig the kid with the skull shirt being followed by bugs. Many other great ones too.
