Happy New Years Guys, and Gal!
i hope you have have had a great new years. and see you next week.
OH! and, thanks for the podcast.
...thanks for posting your painting videos on the internet for all us newbies to digital painting... they have been really helpful as I have tried to make the transition from analog to digital art... keep up the good work in 2008!
I'm excited about your new podcast. They are a period of sanity during my "crappy job" and it's so inspiring for me to draw as soon as I get home from work.
I thought of a suggestion for your email problem. In gmail and Thunderbird, I use the labels/tags to organise. Maybe have simple labels with simple commands like "Respond to" or "Work related", ect :) I can't believe how much more productive it's made me. Emails don't get misplaced or forgotten, they are organised and only a click away. It's quite a chore to organise this at first- I archived all my emails in my inbox, then sorted through and put labels on them. Just make sure to clean out the inbox everyday by labelling, then archiving them and you're on top of it all :) Hope this helps you! Take care!
Slav - Happy New Year my friend! See you on Sunday
Weaselboy - It's my pleasure. Thanks for watching them.
Char - Thanks for the wonderful suggestion! I'm using the google mail labels now. I should have used this a long time ago. hehehe...
Thanks so much for sharing. I sooo agree to the things you just said. Please do keep it up. More power!
I'm embarrassed to say that I never even saw the Archive feature in Gmail until it was pointed out in one of the self-improvement blogs I read. I created an Archive folder in Thunderbird, since it doesn't have one by default :) It's great to see an actually *empty* Inbox every night before bed!
Great advice to start the New Year off. Keep rockin bro.

Happy New Year Bobby and Kei!
Thanks for the podcast vid Bobby. I hope you will continue to share more art business and independent artist advice with us over the coming semester. Your advice has proven very invaluable. I have learned alot in both drawing-wise and business/career-wise. I look forward to class with you next semester!
All the best!
Jands, Jason thanks! I'm very happy you liked it.
Jinny - You're such a hard working person! Perfect ingredients for a fantastic artist.
also Happy New Year to you!
Happy new year Bobby "digital" chui. I cant knock you homie. Belief/Faith is a factor when it comes to succeeding in what ever it is one does. Keep dropping the knowledge.
That was truly inspirering, thank you very much!
I really liked listening to what you had to say....felt like I was in a class..took notes and everything. I hope you put some more....I am curious though, being a teacher, have you ever told your students that they need to change there style? And if you have, did you give them advice on how to do so? I have had teachers tell me this, but they never told me how...so it is a confusing concept.
None the less, I enjoyed your talk and will come back to listen some more.
Have Fun!
